I feel you should replace "forcing grand parents to take care of your child"
to " placig the child in the safe and trusted care of grandparents". I know of many grandparents who have taken voluntry retirements, so that they can look after their little ones. If they have brought up you or ur spouse, now with much more wisdom, they will brought up ur child.
I know this is not the same in some cases, and some grandparents (esp if they r ur in-laws) may be narrow minded and stuck with the mindset that they know the best, .... its then best to place ur kid with any other trusted source, either @ home or a good daycare cum playgroup
I don't intent to hurt anyones feeling but yes sometime we tend to overexpect from our parent seeing them retired and nothing else to do. They are always welcome in our family to take care of our children but over the time it becomes a compultion for them as we started moulding their life as per our schedule which is not appropriate.
I hope you will appreciate my thoughts and that's the reason i have used the word forcefully not asking.
I called NPS today and was informed that the process has not started yet. Please let me know in case anyone has received the call from any of the branches.
Thanks.
Folks - Thanks for the feedback. Changed the wording for option 4 from forcing to asking. Keep your votes coming.
