Basic Cleanliness and Discipline at DAV

It is sad to note that the school claims to be ISO Certified, but does not even maintain basic cleanliness as regards the toilets. Time and again we have complained about the bad condition of the toilets (They are never cleaned and in a very bad shape). Children refrain from using the toilet for more than 8 hours and this is absolutely detrimental to their health.
Coming to the aspect of discipline, children just run through the staircases without any control. I just pray that there is no stampede or other accidents one of these days. The teachers do nothing to control this mad rush. It is worse than a municipal school.
I request the editorial team to actually visit the toilets of DAV (All of them old as well as new buildings) to verify the authenticity of this complaint.
The worst decision that I took was making my daughter get into DAV, Aundh.
Top 10 reasons - Why not to join DAV, Aundh Pune (List the problems)
1. Toilet are really really bad. Toilet in railway stations and busstands are better than the DAV toilets. If the studetns use the toilets at DAV, Aundh Pune- They will surely fall sick for life
2. Unfriendly teachers- They do not know how to treat kids. The teachers add not value to the children's charecter building
3. All speak Mrathi, and Hind - the child will forget speaking in English
4. Over crowded class room- They make 3 studetns sit on a bench - which can accomodate only 2 !
5. A B C D E F G H I J K , these are divisions for Jr. KG and Sr. KG - huge crowd- Each class has minimum 55 studetns!
6. The studetns who take BUS are the pitiable lot - The scene of gettign into the School Bus is worse than getting into a Mumbai Local train!
7. The "Administrator" feel himself to be the "Lord"
8. Web site is never updated.. YOu ca check it even today - All outdated stuff - No updates - They still belive in old systems( thnak got not peigions ) to send circulars home as hard copy - So if reaches you its your luck!
9. Applications are not sold online.
10. No emergency medical help is provided by the school - ( Althogh they clain it!)

I too agree with Suresh - I visited the school once - as i could not control the natures call - used the toilet of the school - literally have to hold my nose while I used the loo! Also was infected with urinary track infection with in a week...
Think twicebefore u are allow child to use the toilet at DAV
