Review for CMR National Public School

CMR NPS: Decent School

My children are studying in this school since their LKG classes. Now the elder one is in III std and the younger is in I std. So I have an association of about 4+ yrs with this school.

So far I am satisfied with the school.

When we moved to B'lore in 2005, we were looking for a good school for our children (what all parents do), started the search and came to know about this school.
This school follows the CBSE board and is mainly academics oriented.  The teaching staff is experienced and the syllabus format is very good. They gradually build on the concepts in each class bringing more and more details as the classes advance. There is no homework as such (I know till III class) but the regular tests (8 rounds  in one year) ensure that the students are regular in the study work.

Lack of sufficient infrastructure to support sports facilities is one negative point but that anyway parents take care of depending upon the interests of the wards.

The priorities of parents are different and each child is different so what works for me may not work for others. It is important to select the school knowing fully what the school is going to offer to the child.

I also believe that no school is perfect and no school is totally imperfect. Schooling of children is a project which we as parents and teachers together carry on. If there is no major problem with the institute, some insignificant irritants can easily be ignored.

On a personal note, I feel as parents we should encourage our children to have utmost respect for the school and the teachers.

But, ma'm there is a play ground behind the school and adjacent to Jalvayu vihar
