"I would like to share my views on GEAR during the school hunt. Pls consider this as my personal thoughts.

GEAR is not so "famous" or "advertised" like other schools in Bangalore. Even I have realized the educational values there lately. I found it to be one of the best school. not because of the appealing school building or facilities. You should visit the school and meet the Principal Mr.Srinivasan. They have entry at the age of 2.5 years for the Montessori ( GEM+ ). It is an enhanced montessori program. What you heard must be true!!!. It will be very dificult to get in 1st std or above . I heard that most of the seats get filled very soon. The school follows lots of new learning approaches with creative thinking etc. Their admission procedure is very simple and straight forward. I have visited almost all the schools on Sarjapur road ( IIS, DPS etc )and finally decided GEAR for my kid. I have talked to some parents too.

Recenlty Bangalore's leading developer Confident Group has tied up with GEAR for the expansion. New GEAR schools are coming on Sarjapur Road. It is starting with Confident-GEAR Montessori Plus ( C-GEM+) opposite to Confident Orion.Another school Confident-GEAR Creative Leadership school( C-GCLS), Sarjapur is also in the plan.
