Review for Akshara Art of Learning

Our child has been going to Akshara for almost an year now. I see that he is learning something new everyday.  I like the way they started off biology -- from the existance of amoeba. They are doing a lot on maths too. But not sure if the application of all that is covered. Very true that they dont have a proper sports teacher. Nor do they teach music/art/dance/yoga on a regular basis. More than these, we are little disappointed with the principal and her behaviour.  She keeps on speaking and doesnt seem to listen to us or get our point. Very true, that she thinks no other schools could have taught children in the montessori way or could have feeded lots of information to the kids. 

The other major drawback of the school is that parents are not allowed to meet the teachers, who actually teach and would know your ward better.

On the whole if I have to say if the school is good or bad, may be I dont have an answer. Like any other school it has both good and bad and one needs to decide what exactly they want from the school.
