Review for VIBGYOR High

time and again i have noticed the school not giving enough coaching for what we parents are charged which is unfair and cheating us of our money

twice a week for seniors and once a week for juniors and  half hr coaching for whatever sports/activity the child has chosen i believe is not enough and whenever there is a competition suddenly the coach wakes up and makes the children practice everyday ....sadly this is often done 2 weeks proir to a competition they fail to understand that winners are not made in 2 weeks they are made with rigiours and continous  practice through out the year .....but this school does the same mistake over and over again they don't seem to understand that constant failure in an inter school competition might effect the students it kills their confidence and self esteem

the reason i cannot ignore this is....i too own a school in mumbai i have a strength of 2200 students but we give a lot of importance to extracurricular activities along with studies we have volleyball,basketball,koko,music,dance,drawing,school band,karate,
military training .....whatever the activity the coaching are done through out the year and extra coaching is done months before the students enter a competition ....i know for sure the list of inter school competitions are sent much in advance so i fail to understand the last minute practice .....my students have won lot of inter school,state level,and international competitions only because i have coaches who are committed and dedicated to their work  and they get all the support and they need from me guess how much i charge "1000" rupees for the whole year.

this dusshera holiday i had taken my son with me to mumbai since my school had our sports inaugaration i wanted him to see how its done since his school doesnt have one .....believe me he was surprised with band, march past done by the respective houses, the oath ceremony and the grand opening with various cultural and sports activity like pyramid/lajim etc ......but sadly he never got to see this in his school i would like to quote his exact response but i guess i have said enough

i hope the school stops thinking of minting more money from parents with new and creative ideas .....instead of of which they should concentrates on providing our children facilities and coaching which we pay them for thats all i will expect out of them
