Inventure Academy was established in 2005 (by the folks behind the Prestige group). The school offers classes from kindergarten till the 12th Grade. Inventure blends in the curriculum from different streams and offers ICSE, IGCSE and ISC (at higher levels) You can get more information on the curriculum (or the approach) here: http://www.inventureacademy.com/curriculum.htm One aspect that stands out is the student:teacher ratio which as been specified as 8:1 (in 2007-2008) which is pretty good. Most of the international schools are around this range (typically around 10) The school has a good website and provides most of the information that you would want to know. Grades 1-5 have Co curricular activities like Music, Dance, Speech and Drama, Art and Pottery as an integral part of the curriculum and are compulsorily exposed to each one of them. Grades 6 upwards sports and speech and drama are compulsory for all. Students can however choose from the other co curricular options of music, dance and art as their elective for the year. These electives are skill based and there is a performance/presentation at the end of the year that celebrates the student's honed skills. 1. Kindergarten to 4th Grade: Basics of motor development skills/ Gross movement patterns/ Fun with sports and fitness. 2. 5th & 6th Grades: Exposure to multiple sports/ track & field 3. 7th & 8th Grades: Identification of proficiency in any particular sport/game 4. 9th & 10th Grades: Specialized focus on the sport/game of choice |

Please check with school for updated information Pre-school - 1.07L, Grades 1-6 - 1.35L, Grade 7 - 1.45L, Grade (8-10) ICSE - 1.6L, Grade 8-10 IGCSE - 1.9L, A/AS Level (CIE) - 2.15L. Fees above include educational supplies, books etc. Additional fees apply depending on special needs. One time registration and admission fees amount to about 30K

We admitted our child after having multiple discussions with the school management, they promised lot of things that made us feel this is the school for our kid!! But soon things started unraveling ! They talk about concept based teaching et. al. but they are completely at loss on what it means! They have no clue what your child will learn by end of the year! They do not provide any clarity and visibility into their teachings and the specificity of what they are going to achieve by end of the year! You ask them and they tell you to look at “RunWeb” and all Runweb has is a list of abstract bullet points but no specific details! We had multiple discussion on this with the class teacher, principal but still they were unable to provide clarity! Secondly, the communication from school is very bad – teachers do not look at any notes you send to school ( or seldom they do) and they do not even provide any cohesive communication!! Thirdly, class teacher does not have good grasp on kids abilities and how he/she is faring overall! We saw huge disconnect in what the class teacher will say and what the respective subject teacher will say!! We don’t feel proper disciplines are enforced in school – kids have their ways to do stuff and that could be reason for kids to feel happy to be there! If you feel your kid is doing good then, IMO, it’s not because of the school but because of the parents and kids own effort to excel. Your kid could do lot better than he/she is doing at Inventure if you put them in any other school that has better structure and more focused on kids overall growth then spending their time and effort in branding the school and publicity/promotion stunts.
If you want to see how well your kid is doing, just do a comparative analysis with another kid from a different school in the same grade, or have some third party educationalist do an evaluation of IQ vs. knowledge and you will know. And just do an analysis of the ROI you are getting for the money you are paying at Inventure …. It is not worth it
Inventure is still trying to invent on how to teach, you will see things changing year after year! (BTW, they changed the Primary school principal midyear, but no change in clarity!). And the problem is not just with one grade, we spoke to number of parents in other grades and they all had similar concerns! And try going to the management as a group of parents, they will not like it and will not meet with parents in a group! Only with one child’s parent at a time, that’s how they tackle issues!!
We had to pull our kid from the school as enough was enough. But am still gathering lots of information and will share more soon.
There is more than 100% increment in fees for session 2010-2011. For pre-primary admission fees is 60k and annual fees is 1.6L
Mr Anonymous... Inventure Academy is quite open in sharing their fees str not only for grades you are enrolling but across grades. Though i am just a prospective parent they have emailed it to us and it is certainly lesser than what you have qouted.. please post remarks which are authentic and helps all us parents to trust them.

Inventure Academy is one of the very few schools i have been to which have kept up their promises made when i first enrolled my daughter 2 years ago. They have not only been winning awards and championship in sports, cultural, adventure sports and various other events, but also ACADEMICS.
Check their ranking in Education World for yourselves. I guess this is enough encouragement for them - their next batch graduating as well & their ongoing AS and A level - to be starting their ISC batch as well....Kudos Inventure!!!!!!!!!
I am relocating to India and planning to enroll my son into Inventure for 4th grade. Need to know pros and cons before I make up my mind. u'r help is much appreciated.
Aki I will be very frank with my observations of school and Inventure Academy in particular.
Inventure is one school which has not let me down as a parent and my child as a student. They genuinely deliver what they promise which includes giving wide xposure to students in academics, sports and extra curriculra. The school is very inviting on any feedback and the Principal Mallika Sen in always available for any discussions.
As a parent I am happy with the way my child is growing here. Do consider this school if you are serious about your child's future.

i have been hearing that there are many teething issues in the school like attrition rate of the teachers,no discipline, communication gaps ..hw far thats true
