Neev is an "extended preschool" that takes in children from 1 year and 10 months (playschool) all the way to 6 years (for KG 1 and KG 2). Neev has branches in Indiranagar, Whitefield, Sadashivanagar and Koramangala. Neev has got a good website that offers further information. Check that out for further details. Visits can also be arranged by calling the school in advance. An interesting tid bit about Neev is that it is an initiative of Lupin Ventures, promoted by the promoters of Lupin Ltd. one of India’s leading pharmaceutical companies. |

whats the experience of admission in std 1 after spending 4 years in Neeev? What kind of school one can think of to get admission in std 1?
I am pretty much inclined for my kid's admission to Neev but worried as admission in nursery is so difficult in all of these good schools (NPS, shishu griha etc.), How difficult it would be to get admission in 1'st standard once kid is out of Neev? and no body will like any ok kind of school once kid is out of Neev. Can somebody help me coming out of this dilemma ?
and another issue is since Neev is FCFS basis and fees is pretty high so might end up paying fees there and later on if you get call from other good school (above mentioned) , what would be practical approach as in these schools solves the problem of admission till 12'th ? where in Neev, you will have to struggle again for 1'st std ?
Hi there,
This is the biggest issue in getting the kids admitted into one of the dedicated pre-schools. I read a similar note elsewhere (on this site) about Eurokids too. Getting admission into 1st grade, if not impossible, is definitely much more tougher than getting an admission in LKG (given the number of seats that are available - as it is an intake of a fresh batch of students).
If you are particular that the kids get into one of the "education" oriented schools then I would say - "optimize your chances for that" (I.e. choose them over Neev). However, if you are not particular and if you are open to experimenting with one of the newer schools (which may or may not be better with the "older" schools) - then go with Neev.
Hope that helps.
