"The International School, Bangalore (TISB)" is situated on the Whitefield-Sarjapur road and belongs to the family of "National Public School". Like other international schools in Bangalore, TISB provides boarding facilities too.

As per the school's website, "At TISB students have all the ingredients for success: unparalleled facilities for every sort of sporting, theatrical, cultural activity, vast grounds and open spaces for recreation, superb teachers who are highly experienced and trained in delivering the IGCSE and IB syllabi, great food and an excellent social atmosphere where courtesy, kindness, industriousness and ambition are our hallmarks.  The students who graduate from TISB go to the greatest universities worldwide."

TISB's website is pretty good and offers a lot of information. Do visit the website to get a better idea about the school.

A rude admission officer...
Late response. A very rigorous admission procedure.
The school is good academically though.

That was your first clue; while the PY is excellent, the upper school compensates for incompetent management by being hostile and belittling, regularly shouting at each in front of students and shouting at students instead of managing them - even seniors, which is why they staged a protest a couple of years back, many of whom were expelled and the rest suspended from campus till exams. The founder gave a speech to staff afterwards claiming that they were al qaeda. A friend of mine managing a competing school says they constantly get CVs from TISB teachers desperate to get out.
