Established in 2007, Treamis World School is the creation of a group of professionals from the USA and India. The school campus is located near Electronics City (the southern side of Bangalore). Boarding facilities are also available in the campus.

Treamis offers all grades - from pre-school till 12th standard. The students can choose between CBSE or IGCSE curriculum at the high school level (9th - 12th standard).

In general, it appears that the school has put in a lot of effort to enable "seamless global mobility" - by offering a curriculum that integrates with those in the USA and UK. The curriculum (more so the approach) also appear to be "inspired" by how the schools in the US are structured (viz. Elementary, Middle, High). Treamis has established a student and teacher exchange program with certain schools in the US.

To enable and further these, TREAMIS has tied up with "Morgan Park Academy, Illinois"  and "Lake Forest Academy, Illinois".

We are moving back to B'lore this summer and are in the process of finding good schools for our 8 and 3 year old. Treamis sounds very interesting. Any feedback from parents whose kids are currently enrolled will be very welcome.

Hi,

I feel it is the biggest mistake of our lifes when we admitted our kid year 2 years back. It s 4th year of the school, and the school has yet not settled.
The teachers do not stay here, they keep changing every 3-4 months. Seems they are paid very meagerly here. Only the ones who do not get jobs anywhere, join here. Thus, you can understand the quality of teaching.
It is funded by some ladies and gentlemen from US, who keep making fun trips to India.
They invest heavily on infrastructure and charge heavily to students.
We got to know of these realities only recently, and are planning to drop out our kid.

I am Manuel here working at Treamis as Admissions Officer. I just came across your comment, I am finding it very difficult to digest what you have commented on us. If you are really a parent, can you please come to my office and let me know what your problem is.
Treamis has staff members who have been working here from day 1. You will see new faces because the school is expanding and adding new programs every year. These programs require additional teachers. Just our Sports and Performance department alone has grown 500%.
The salary here is above average. Unlike other schools which are commercially focused, the promoters here are very passionate about education. If they wanted to invest for making money, they had a lot of other opportunities. As an employee, I am really surprised at the dedication and professionalism of these promoters.

You say you have been a parent for the last two years and came to know about it recently and that you are trapped. A parent who is involved in the school or child’s education would not take years to make such comments. No parent can be trapped in any school for years. If you have been a parent for almost three years at Treamis, you must have really enjoyed the learning environment here. There should be some other reason for the negative comments. Hi,
My daughter has been studying in this school from past 1 year and she is the happiest amongst all her friends from other schools. I have seen a sea change in her overall development. The school is new to the industry, so have some teething problems, which i feel every school will have.And fee for 6th grade for the year 2011-2012 is: Tution fees:90,000 and transportation:30,000.

I am planning on finding admission at Treamis School for my 4 and 8 year old children and I am returning from US. Can you please tell me if this is a good school to transition them into. Comparatively is Treamis better than India International School? which is good to go with?

If you've already enrolled your kids at Treamis, are kids well adjusted to the new school and teaching methods.?
